The project was a multi-phase effort to relocate a number of the bank’s departments from numerous leased sites in downtown Burlington to a single existing building on the IBM campus in Williston. The fit-up comprised approximately 57,000 square feet of open space, private offices, conference rooms, employee spaces and a large high density file storage area. Emphasis was placed on future growth and flexibility.
The existing mechanical system was augmented with new equipment and controls to meet the needs of the new uses. Electrical and communication systems were also revamped for the bank’s needs and a new security system installed.
Farrington Construction was the general contractor. Construction costs was approximately $2.8 million.
