Sachem Village provides 130 housing units near campus for Dartmouth College graduate students with spouses and families. The Village, located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, was constructed using factory built technology reducing on-site construction time by 30% and minimizing the impact on the surrounding community.
The community building was designed to have the look of a small village church and meeting house. It serves as the meeting house for the community and alternative study area for students. The infrastructure for the entire development including internet access, telephone, and fire alarm systems are fed through the community building in order to centralize the communications of the community.
