President David Roy, as a resident of South Hero, VT was on the library subcommittee to determine a new approach for the South Hero Library. The current library has limited use during school hours because of its location within the existing Folsom School. The idea is to have a new library in a better location to serve the entire community.

The Library will have a portion of space that can be rented out to community groups. It has a café space, lounge space for people of all ages, computer access (free wi-fi) a high volume stack area, multiple decks and patios which reinforce a connection with the outside. The building is planned to be Net-Zero or Net-Zero ready.
