Allen’s interest in architecture began when he took drafting classes in high school. He then attended Vermont Technical College earning a degree in Architectural and Building Engineering Technology. Upon graduation Allen began working in a small 2-4 person architectural firm, where he spent the next 30 years and received his license as an Architect. Working at a small firm allowed him to work closely with clients and gain experience in all aspects of the process, from conception to completion on a variety of project types. Recently joining the WLA team, Allen is excited to start the next chapter of his career. Outside of work, Allen can be found on the golf course or in his garage working on his classic Mustang. Allen also enjoys spending time with his wife and son and their 3 cats.
