With a background in fine arts, graphic design and carpentry, Joseph went back to school for Architecture, and began a career which focused on K-12 school design. He believes that architecture is a blend of science and art; equal parts left brain and right brain. While we serve our clients and community with practical and well-built solutions, we keep in mind aspirations and beliefs that Design of the built environment can speak to us all for many years to come. Like a good piece of music or art, we should be energized by living with our buildings. The built environment should support us as both individuals and community, as well as contribute to our health, social connectivity and relationships with historic and future humanity.

Joseph enjoys carpentry, canoe camping, friends, campfires, cooking, fishing, guitar and art.
