Northwest Access TV

St Albans City, VT
3,129 SF Office + Studio

The Northwest Access Television facility includes a full service television studio inside with which to record shows for broadcast on public access television. This space is a black-box style theater and can be "set up" to accommodate different camera sight lines and flexible lighting depending on the specific production being filmed. There is classroom space to provide informational classes on how to produce, edit and televise productions. There are also administrative offices and storage rooms that are easily accessible to the parking area for remote shoots. The Northwest Access Television Production Facility is a 3,129 sq. ft. modern barn style building, located on a greenfield site in a small office park. It is designed to be “Net-zero ready”.This means that the building, while not achieving net zero at its current state, is designed to be capable of doing so with the addition of solar PV panels that the building is already designed to receive. The facility is well insulated to conserve heat during the winter months. The south facing windows feature overhangs designed to maximize natural daylight while minimizing glare and solar heat gain during the summer months.
